Safety Standards

At HoodSquare, we are committed to providing a safe environment for all our users — especially students and young adults. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any form of child exploitation or grooming.

To prevent the spread of harmful content, we employ several layers of protection:

• Proactive content monitoring and automated tools to detect and block suspicious material.
• Human review of reported content to ensure rapid removal of anything that violates our safety standards.
• Restrictions on messaging and profile interactions to protect user privacy.

Users can report any safety concerns or suspicious behavior directly within the HoodSquare app. Every profile and listing has a clearly visible "Report" button. Every report is treated with the highest priority and investigated by our dedicated safety team.

HoodSquare complies with all relevant child safety laws, including the reporting of CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant regional and national authorities. We cooperate fully with law enforcement to protect our community.
